My practice is based in the Nelson CBD. In my clinic, I offer several types of sessions, ranging from massage to healing. Whilst I specialise in relaxation massage, there is also an option for you to have a deeper massage to release tight muscles and long term tension. My sessions are both therapeutic and nurturing.        Please note: I do not do sexual massage.

Gentle but Deep Massage for Injuries and Frozen Muscles

One Hour Massage - treatment massage for sports injuries, tight and painful muscles, frozen shoulders, restricted movement and physical maintenance for active people.   This involves a number of techniques including trigger point treatment.
Cost of Massage: $75   Note:  This is not deep tissue massage with hard pressure - I use medium pressure.

Relaxation Massage

One Hour Massage - Relax and Rejuvenate:   this full body
massage using aromatherapy essential oils is ideal for
releasing muscular tension, calming the mind and giving stress relief - a superbly gentle way to unwind.   (There is NO sexual touch in this massage).

Sore Muscle Buster!   - Back, Neck and Shoulder Massage

Back, Neck and Shoulder Massage:  this one hour session focuses entirely on the back, neck and shoulders where deeper work is required to release tight muscles, and reduce muscular pain.

Pregnancy Massage

Pregnancy Massage:   A one hour aromatherapy relaxation massage for pregnant woman designed to promote relaxation and help ease muscular pain during pregnancy.

Chi Nei Tsang

NEW Chi Nei Tsang is an abdominal treatment which is used to assist with healthy digestion, massage of the internal organs, emotional processing and relieving pelvic tension.  Treatments take 30-60 minutes and are interactive - meaning the client is required to breathe deeply throughout the session while work is being done on the abdomen by the practitioner.

What happens in a massage?

What happens in a session?:  A session consists of recording your medical history and ascertaining what sort of session you need. 

If you are having a massage you are covered with towels during the treatment and only the part of the body being massaged is exposed at one time.    I use a number of techniques to ease out tight muscles and other movements which help you to let go and relax. 

Please note:  I do not do Physiotherapy under the Physiotherapy Act 1949.   I do not diagnose.  My practice is non sexual.

Prices:  All sessions are 60 minutes long and can be tailor-made/modified to suit your personal requirements and cost $75 per hour. Regular clients receive a discounted rate. Please allow an extra 15 minutes for a client consultation the first time you come.   Appointments for sessions are essential.   

Cancellation fee:  there is a cancellation fee of $20 if Elayne is not notified within 24 hours of the appointment time.
