Isn’t that interesting? Yes we invest alot of energy into being sick and gaining what we need out of it. Sometimes its worth exploring what are the benefits of being sick – attention, love, touch. What would it take to invest our energy into being well and also ensuring we get what we need like love and touch and attention in other ways? So put your focus on being well. Instead of saying “can’t do anything” say “I can drink lemon juice first thing in the morning so my digestion works better”. Instead of saying "Im lazy", say "I’ll do 5 minutes of chi kung". Instead of eating the wrong foods and feel bad, choose the right ones and feel good. We put alot of energy into saying I cant because when we don’t do the right thing we are actually holding ourselves back from growing and experiencing the good life. Its tiring ignoring our inner voice all the time. When we do what our body asks of us it feels happy. The energy taken in holding ourselves back becomes available for moving forward. Do the right thing for you.
So often we know what to do for ourselves, we just choose not to do it. Stubborness doesn't serve us.

"IT TAKES AS MUCH ENERGY TO BE SICK AS IT DOES TO BE WELL" yep, that statement resonates for me Elayne. Who proved it to be true scientifically, can you tell me the source? In loving kindness, Nick Moody
