Hi, Elayne here from Massage In Nelson. If you are on this page, you are probably like me, you love to massage!

​I have been running a massage business for more than 20 years and for the last 15 years I have taught people like you how to massage in a fun, safe group environment.

​If you want to learn how to relieve muscular aches and pains with massage but don't know the correct techniques, or you want to give a beautiful relaxing massage to your family and friends, but don't have the confidence, then you have come to the right place!
What happens on the Course?

​The course starts with an introduction and you learn how to set up your massage space. Then we move straight into the massage - starting with the basic massage movements. First I demonstrate, and then you roll up your sleeves, partner up with another student, and give it a go. I guide you through all the movements and techniques step by step, giving you my personal attention when needed.
You will learn how to massage:
  • Back, neck and shoulders
  • Hands and arms
  • Legs and feet
On the last day we will put it all together into a full body massage.
The best bit is that you don't just give a massage, you will receive one too.

How much does it cost?  $350 and there is an early bird price of $300 if paid 10 days in advance.

Will I get a Certificate?   Yes you will receive a Certificate of Attendance.

Can I bring a Friend?   Yes, friends are welcome! Invite a friend to come with you (they will need to register on the course).
Can I come on my Own?  Yes. There will be plenty of people to partner up with for the massage practice.

Will there be nudity on the course? No. Students are asked to bring large towels to cover themselves and underwear is worn. We only uncover the part of the body that is being massaged.

Do we have Breaks? There are number of breaks during the day.  Morning and afternoon tea are provided both days. Please note we have short lunch breaks, so please bring your lunch as there won't be time to go out. ​
Is this a Registered Qualification?  No, it is a course for beginners who want the know how to give a massage to family and friends, without a big financial outlay, or the need for intensive study and don't need a formal qualification.
Often people start here, just to find out if they like massaging. Then they go on to do a formal qualification at a registered school.

​I already know how to massage but want to brush up on my skills. Can I come along? Yes, this class is perfect for you. You will leave feeling "fired up" and ready to go!

What payment types do you accept? Please pay in advance via on-line banking. I will send you my bank account number when you register.

Is there an early bird price if I pay in advance?  Yes there is an early bird price if you register and pay 10 days in advance.
