A journey of delights and sights
​Carters Beach   -  Castle Hill   -  Omahau Downs 

This little adventure is both an inner and an outer journey where we explore some of the South Islands' beautiful nature spots, connect with the land, and travel within our inner being to reconnect and revitalise our inner path.

There are three different options and you can choose any or all of them - depending on your budget and how much time you can get away from home.    

We will start at Carters Beach, near Westport where we will begin our quest with unwinding from our busy lives: reflecting, connecting and meditating together, and walking the glorious coastal area.

Then we will head on down to Castle Hill - a place sacred to peoples of this land; Maori and the Spirit of Waitaha.  We will walk the land and connect with the stones, journeying as the ancient Shamans once would, to connect with our inner soul path and offer healing energy to the land.

Finally, we will drive to Oamaru Downs near Twizel which overlooks Mt Aoeraki.    The magestic mountain and beauty of this area will open us up - deepening our experience according to the intention set at the start of our journey.

Time out at Carters Beach               Fri 25th Nov - Sun 27th Nov

We will leave Nelson around 9 am and drive down to Carters Beach in Westport.  On Sunday we will leave Carters Beach around 1 p.m.

Walk on the beach or swim in the sea

Castle Hill                         Sunday 27 Nov - Wednesday 30th Nov

 We will leave Carters Beach in Westport around 2 p.m. and drive down to Castle Hill - arriving around 7 p.m. with a meal on the way.  

Activities:
Meditation and shamanic journeying
​Walking on the land and through the stones
Connecting with the energies at Castle Hill

On Wednesday 30th we will leave Castle Hill around 10 am to drive down to Omahau Downs.

Omahau Downs - Mt Aoraki Discovery 
                                        Wednesday 30th Nov - Sunday 4th Dec

Wednesday 30th November we will arrive at Omahau Downs, Twizel.  

Activities:
Meditation and shamanic journeying
​Walking on the land
Connecting with the energies at Mt Aoraki and Lake Pukaki.

We will return to Nelson on Sunday 4th November, leaving around 9 a.m.

Cost:   
Accommodation: approximately $60 a night
Food:  Everyone brings some food from home and we will do shared meals (Elayne will organise with you later).  
Petrol:   We will do car pooling and the petrol expenses will be divided between the people in each car.

Note:   There will be two people in each bedroom.
